GOLD MONSTER 2000™ tracks ultra-fine gold with sharper precision in mineralised ground using Minelab’s Multi-Au™ technology, which combines VLF sensitivity and a Pulse Induction soil handling engine. Echo Wave™ Audio makes it easier to identify valuable targets by distinguishing weak gold signals from hot rocks, iron trash and interference. A real-time Gold Chance Indicator provides visual feedback on the likelihood of detecting gold versus junk, while the carbon-fibre telescopic shaft delivers portability without sacrificing durability.

Multi-Au™ Technology with Hybrid SMF-PI
Minelab's new Multi-Au simultaneous multi-frequency engine combines the ultra-fine sensitivity of VLF with the superior ground-handling capability of a Pulse Induction soil-handling engine. This advanced signal processing improves responsiveness to small or difficult targets by maintaining signal clarity and reducing ground noise in mineralised soils. The result is powerful, stable detection across challenging goldfields without sacrificing precision or depth.
Echo Wave™ Audio
Highly sensitive detection audio is layered with target discrimination tones to clearly differentiate valuable targets from surrounding clutter, including ferrous junk, hot rocks and background noise, while preserving sensitivity, clarity and depth. Receive accurate target identification even in mineralised soil and challenging goldfields. (in echo wave, good targets give a "chirp" in the signal while junk steel gives a "grunt".)
Easy-Trak and Quick-Trak Ground Balance
Powered by Multi-Au™, automatic Easy-Trak and manual Quick-Trak adjust to changing ground conditions in real time, providing extreme precision and control, reducing false signals and improving target detection. Easy-Trak automatically monitors and adjusts to ground variations, helping maintain a stable signal and reduce false responses. Quick-Trak enables fast, manual ground balance adjustment. Press the button to retune immediately when moving across hot rocks or shifting soil conditions. Maintain peak sensitivity and depth in mineralised ground without interruption.
Gold Chance Indicator
The real-time Gold Chance Indicator displays a dynamic gauge that shifts as the detector analyses a target, showing the probability of gold versus ferrous trash. This instant feedback helps inform decisions and reduce time spent on unwanted targets.
Manual & Auto Sensitivity
Manual and Auto Sensitivity let you tailor performance to conditions. Choose from 10 manual levels for precise control, or switch to Auto Sensitivity for adaptive operation. Auto applies a lower sensitivity setting for stability, while Auto Plus increases sensitivity to enhance target signal feedback.
Auto Noise Cancel
On startup, Automatic Noise Cancelling actively scans for sources of electromagnetic interference, including power lines and nearby electronics, then adjusts operating frequencies to reduce signal noise. The result is more stable performance, clearer audio and reliable signals in mineralised or noisy ground.
Coil
Waterproof up to 1 m (3.3 ft), the GM2000-05 5" Round Double-D Coil is designed for versatility and precision. Its compact size makes it ideal for detecting in tight spaces and allows for high sensitivity to the smallest gold nuggets.
