This is an acoustic reflector for the sound coming from the inbuilt speaker on an SDC2300. It helps direct the sound upward and towards the operator instead of away from the detector. Printed from nylon, this is very tough and can remain in place to allow the detector to fold up for storage. It simply presses into place for a secure fit.
