This is a ground balancing aid for the GPZ7000 detector. It is a measured amount of ferrite to allow the detector to ground balance accurately and be quiet and smooth in operation from the start. Not using this aid will result in a detector that takes up to 30 minutes to settle down and be as quiet as possible over the ground, so it is recommended to be used.
