High-bankers are 2 box apparatuses that use a top box to shovel the material into and by using water flow the material is moved over a grating or grid which lets the larger rocks slide off, and the smaller fines pass into the lower box. The lower box operates like a river sluice and separates the heavies from the lighter unwanted material with a mesh and matting mix.
