Bungy and Hipstick

A bungy cord is an elasticised cord that attaches to the metal detector and to the harness. it is worn to assist in taking the weight of the detector and allowing for easier swinging of the machine for a longer and less tiresome experience.

Hipsticks or Bungy Struts are fibreglass rods that attach to the harness bungy point and rest in a ball/socket on your belt. The bungy attaches to the top and the weight transfers to you waist or hips instead of your arm and shoulder.
